The Hemodialysis Training School offers an eleven week training program, combining 80 hours of theory and 240 hours of clinical training. For a majority of the clinical training, the School simulates a working dialysis clinic on campus. Once the students develop the confidence and skill, an externship is provided at an actual dialysis unit. Here, the students test their "clinical eye" and become familiar with the fast-paced world of hemodialysis.

Nephrology News & Issues, entering its 20th year of publishing, is a peer-reviewed national news magazine that takes a global approach to covering the political, social, and economic issues surrounding the delivery of dialysis and transplant care.
